SolarSoft v6

From 2004 to 2010, I owned and developed the Dutch RPG Maker community SolarSoft. Over the years, I developed a custom CMS for it, which integrated nicely with the SMF forum that formed the heart of the community.

Version 6.0 of the website launched in early 2009, retaining the basic lay-out, but with a new colour palette to increase overall contrast. Overall, I was very satisfied with how it turned out.

In December, I made a variant of the design (dubbed 6.2) with a more spacey feel to it. Many of the older members really liked this, as it reminded them of an older lay-out that was in use at the time they joined. In January we dropped the accessories we had used for Christmas and New Year's Eve, but kept the second iteration of the lay-out, as it was so well-received.
