SolarSoft v5

From 2004 to 2010, I owned and developed the Dutch RPG Maker community SolarSoft. Over the years, I developed a custom CMS for it, which integrated nicely with the SMF forum that formed the heart of the community.

Version 5.0 of the lay-out launched in 2007, when the 'web 2.0' hype peaked. As a result, the layout dropped all manner of shadows and took all aspects of what constituted a modern, clean design. It was also the first version of the website to have four variants, one for every season, starting with the summer of 2008. Below are some screenshots of each version, both of the home pages and the forum layouts.
