But I don&#039;t really get how a web application can be incompatible with &#039;running in pinned mode&#039;. It&#039;s the same thing as not running in pinned mode, isn&#039;t it? Can&#039;t imagine there being some security model differences or something.</description>

Personally, I think IE9 is looking very promising. Its interface focusses purely on essentials, which will probably appeal to a lot of users. I myself like my options directly visible and would like some more space for my tabs, but that&#039;s me.

All in all, I welcome Microsoft&#039;s acceptance of modern web standards and while IE9 still lacks a bunch of things other browsers already sport (web workers come to mind), I am looking forward to see other sites incorporate the nifty things that HTML5 and CSS3 have to offer. :)</description>
